Since we are still frying our bits here in Ottawa I can hope for a deep freeze in the federal election vis a vis the PC party hitting the skids!!

Unfortunately, I don't think that the strange occurrence in Alberta will translate to the federal stage... the fucking idiot NDP leader is already publicly gloating and stating it means the NDP will win the next election (very, very bad form and further indication of his Harper-esque leadership style), and Trudeau: Redux is stating it's a sign the Liberals will be the party of choice in the next election (a bumbling stretch of the imagination at best). Sigh. Morons.

I actually meant Mulclair at the federal level... I couldn't remember the scumbag's name when I wrote that and couldn't be assed to look it up. Notley seems pretty good so far, but time will tell. I gotta say I have high hopes, but low expectations for the Alberta NDP.

And... it sounds like you need a new job right away. I'm presuming that you don't get a third warning and that they don't "reset" the counter? Being fired for being a few minutes late doesn't sound like a particularly desirable way of setting the job gears in motion.

How was your Monday morning?

I woke up about an hour ago which is good so now I should go to bed tonight at a reasonable time.

Plan to do some art stuff today and go for a walk around the neighbourhood. There is one of those cute little library boxes down the street and it's jammed packed full of books and it's calling to me!!

What's ultra amusing is that the next day, Edmonton dropped below freezing and had a big storm (uncharacteristic for this time of year). Lmao, apparently Edmonton was Hell this whole time! ;)
