Studio Inventory
Aug. 18th, 2022 11:12 pmI have started streaming on Twitch as a variety streamer... "More of a storyteller and sharer of ideas than a busker – relaxed but intense vibes. Model Building. Hot Tub. Music. Yoga. Physics. Feminism. Video Games. Reading. TTRPGs. Philosophy. Audio/video production. Cooking. Electronics. Tarot. Etc.". I can be found at:
https://www.twitch.tv/oldmanphelonius
A lot of streamers have info on their "rig" (computer and camera and sometimes audio equipment, but usually just computer), so I decided to do an inventory of what I have. It seems I have gathered together a fairly ramshackle collection of random stuff over four decades that almost forms a functioning studio kit. Most of what I have was gifted, used, cheap, hauled from the garbage, or on huge sale... The computers I have were very much lagging-edge when I bought them, but they do okay. I have never been wealthy, but I have chipped away at things when I could. The setup I have would be great for anyone that wanted to do streaming, podcasts, music, video production, etc.. If the pandemic is finally ended some year (presumably because we've rebelled and sent the people responsible for the failed response to the guillotine) before anthropogenic climate change destroys society, I would love to host creative people here. If you're in the Ottawa, Canada area and have some ideas on how you could use what I have, feel free to reach out. It's possible that some sort of remote access could also be arrived at if I tried hard enough (and the project was sufficiently cool). I had originally posted this in the description of my channel, but said I would move it to its own page some day, and I decided to put that page here.

- Some of the games were on Steam and some on GOG.com (Iris and the Giant, Wanderlust: Travel Stories, Liberated) and I got sucked into buying more games on GOG because they were such great deals (realMyst: Masterpiece Edition, Worms W.M.D., The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Loop Hero, and Homeworld Remastered Collection)
